Delivery Policy
In order to deliver your inflated and assembled balloons safely, and to avoid having to make multiple attempts at delivery, the following steps outline our normal procedure for making deliveries, whether they are for yourself, someone else, or a gift/surprise.
Office or Place of Work

- We deliver your balloons at whatever time frame you request. No prior phone call will be made since we can be reasonably sure that someone will be there to accept the order.
- We either hand-deliver the order to the recipient at the workplace, or leave the order with the receptionist, depending on the procedures of each workplace.
Residence

- Your delivery date and time frame will have already been agreed upon prior to delivery.
- On the delivery day, we text or call the recipient to make sure they will be home when the balloons are set to be delivered. We will contact the recipient in advance of your selected delivery time frame so that they are reminded. The reason we contact the recipient is to be sure they will be home when we deliver, as we cannot leave your balloons unattended.
- The recipient must confirm they will be present during our delivery window.
- If we do not hear from the recipient, we will still attempt to deliver, assuming someone is home. If someone is not home and we are unable to contact you or the recipient via phone, we will leave the balloon unattended outside. This should be avoided at all costs as balloons are fragile and have a high chance of popping on something when left unattended. We are not responsible for anything that happens to the balloons after we leave.
- If this is a gift and you would like us to deliver without a prior phone call made to the recipient so that it is a surprise, we can do so only if you confirm someone will be home to receive the balloons. Please indicate this is a surprise in your checkout notes and confirm someone will be home within the delivery time frame you select.
Optional Gratuity

- Gratuity is not sought after or assumed. If you feel inclined, you can tip your delivery driver personally with cash. There is no credit card payment option available.
Delivery Policy
In order to ensure the safety of our drivers, Big As Balloons does not guarantee delivery times. Uncontrollable events such as weather, traffic, construction, and other factors can affect the timing of your delivery. Please be aware that the decided upon time frame you select is simply an estimation of when we will be able to arrive, and not a guarantee of an exact delivery time frame. Please also be aware that deliveries going to downtown corporate buildings, a hospital, or non-local delivery service requiring difficult parking arrangements may take longer than the usual time frame for delivery. Big As Balloons guarantees delivery only to the address you specify when ordering, not to the recipient. We do not take responsibility when given incorrect addresses or recipient information. (For ex: company has moved; recipient is on vacation, etc.) Although we will make every effort to correct any error we find before delivery, we cannot be responsible for the order once it has been delivered to the address you have specified. Therefore, please make sure that you have correct delivery information when ordering, as we cannot credit you back for these orders. If you are not home, or answering your phone when we deliver to you, we will leave the balloons at the address indicated, unattended. You will not be refunded if your balloons pop. If you or your recipient is home and accepts the balloon(s) from us and the balloon(s) pop, fly away, or are stolen after we leave, we are not responsible or liable for them and do not provide refunds. If you would like to purchase a replacement, contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee we will be available and make it back in time, but if we can, we will. If we pop your balloon prior to arrival or while we are still at the delivery location, it will be replaced at no charge or a refund will be supplied if we cannot get you a replacement in time.
